Suffering

How to endure suffering? Wrong ways: -Demand to know "why?" -Withdraw from God -Give in to despair Right ways: -Be content to know who is in charge Romans 8:28-30 ..."And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he glorified." -Acknowledge that he is with you I Peter 5:6-7..."Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you." TODAY'S MESSAGE: Suffering covers a wide range of human experiences. While not giving rise to a sense of ultimate despair, the bible is neither idyllic nor escapist and does not give any easy answer to the question of suffering. Suffering is assured; yet even in suffering, the sovereignity of God prevails. God is able to bring meaning into even the worst situations of suffering (i.e., marriage, finance, family, employment, health, etc.). The Bible speaks forcefully about these different of suffering that women and men can encounter; uncertainty of circumstances, frustration, and emptiness. Job suffered; but he never sinned nor did he charge God with wrong. Yes! Job suffered unjustly. His faith, the very cause of his suffering was his only comfort (Job 1:20-22). There is a lot...of suffering...going on among God's people. But, you can rest assure that the Lord is with you every step of the way...He will never put too much on you or allow too much to be place on you. He was with Job in his suffering, and you can believe that without a shadow of doubt that he will be with you also. He will never leave you in your time of need. Hold on to Jesus, trust him, and have faith...TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Remember to stay in the word Remember, there is POWER in PRAYER Remember, there is POWER in the name of JESUS Remember to PRAISE and WORSHIP the Lord in spirit and in truth
