Jesus, I come to you today to say thank you. When I look at what you did on Calvary, who am I to complain? You paid the unlimited price for me while I was still a sinner. I thank you, Jesus, for what you did for me.
When I read Isaiah 53:7-He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he opened not his mouth; he was led as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.
Oh, who am I to complain, when my friend and family hurt me? When I read Isaiah 50:6-I gave my back to those who struck me, and my cheeks to those who plucked out the bread I did not hide my face from shame and spitting. Oh, who am I to complain?
Jesus can identify with my broken heart because he is a "man of sorrow and acquainted with my grief. Isaiah 53:3-He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and aquainted with grief.
